OMS Saleri S.p.A. has over 120 years of experience in the production of high specification ball valves for the offshore & onshore platforms, (such as gas, oil hydrocarbons, water, sour fluids), petrochemicals, refinery, seawater, and severe service for the chemical and petroleum industries.
The company, established in 1896, started its successful history as a producer of valves for olive oil processing. During the two world wars, OMS Saleri manufactured special components for military equipment. In 1945, it started to produce valves for the water and oil industries.
OMS Saleri has a 65.000 m² factory near Brescia (Italy). This includes a state-of-the-art foundry and a sophisticated machining, assembly, testing, painting, and packing facilities.
Having its own foundry, allows OMS a complete control of the quality and delivery of its valves. OMS has the flexibility to utilize a wide range of materials and can supply valves in cast material or forged/rolled material, varying from carbon steels to any Exotic Material.
Starting from a quality system that was initially set up for the nuclear industry, OMS’s quality assurance system is compliant with ISO 9001: 2000, API specificationQ1 and to European directive 97/23/EC.
